Die Suidoosterfees, in samewerking met die FEC (Festival Enterprise Catalyst) en die Jobs Fund, bied op 10 en 11 Junie 2025 ’n gratis opleidingsessie vir verhoogbestuurders by Artscape in Kaapstad aan om hul kennis en vaardighede uit te brei en op te skerp.
Die ervare teatermaker Alfred Rietmann is die aanbieder en bemagtig deelnemers met kennis en vaardighede wat elke verhoogbestuurder in die professionele omgewing nodig het. Aspekte soos teaterbestuur, pre- en post-produksie, klank, beligting, kostuums, repetisies, rekwisiete, verhooginrigting en administratiewe take word belig.

The Suidoosterfees, in collaboration with the FEC (Festival Enterprise Catalyst) and the Jobs Fund, will be hosting a free training session for stage managers on 10 and 11 June 2025 in Cape Town’s Artscape Theatre complex. The aim is to help participants expand and sharpen their knowledge and skills.
Experienced theatre practitioner Alfred Rietmann will present, equipping participants with essential knowledge and skills needed in a professional environment. Key areas covered include theatre management, pre- and post-production, sound, lighting, costumes, rehearsals, props, stage setup as well as administrative duties.
Participants will also get first-hand exposure to Artscape’s facilities – from revolving stages and lifts to the wardrobe department. Space is limited to the first 17 applicants. Apply at:
