Suidoosterfees Talentsoektog:
Bepalings en voorwaardes
1. Kwalifisering
- Deelnemers mag nie jonger as 9 of ouer as 35 wees tydens die inskrywing nie.
- Oop vir individue en groepe binne 100 – 200 kilometer vanaf Kaapstad.
- Deelnemers onder 18 jaar moet toestemming van ’n ouer of wettige voog hê. Sien die inskrywingsvorm vir besonderhede.
- Werknemers, organiseerders en beoordelaars van Suidoosterfees, sowel as hul naasbestaandes, mag nie deelneem nie.
2. Indieningsriglyne
- Elke deelnemer of groep mag slegs een inskrywing per kategorie indien.
- Video’s mag nie langer as 2 minute wees nie, met die insluiting van ’n kort inleiding waarin die deelnemer se naam, ouderdom en kompetisiekategorie aangekondig word.
- Video’s moet deur WhatsApp ingestuur word.
- Inskrywings moet die Suidoosterfees teen 15 November 2024 om 12:00 bereik.
- Laat inskrywings sal nie oorweeg word nie.
- Semifinaliste sal in die tweede week van November 2024 aangekondig word.
3. Reisverantwoordelikheid
- Deelnemers wat as semifinaliste of finaliste gekies word, is verantwoordelik vir hul eie reiskoste om die semifinale en finale rondes in Kaapstad by te woon. Suidoosterfees sal geen reis-, verblyf- of verwante uitgawes dek nie.
4. Inhoudsbeperkings
- Inskrywings mag geen aanstootlike, onsedelike of onvanpaste inhoud bevat nie.
- Inskrywings mag nie geweld, haatspraak of diskriminasie van enige aard bevorder nie.
- Suidoosterfees behou die reg voor om enige inskrywing wat hierdie inhoudsbeperkings oortree, te diskwalifiseer.
5. Beoordelingsproses
- Alle inskrywings sal ’n aanvanklike keuringsproses ondergaan deur ’n paneel beoordelaars wat deur die Suidoosterfees aangewys is.
- Semifinaliste sal gekies word op grond van talent, oorspronklikheid en die gehalte van uitvoerings.
- Die beoordelaars se besluit is finaal en bindend.
- Suidoosterfees behou die reg voor om, indien die gehalte van optredes nie op standaard is nie, nie pryse toe te ken nie.
6. Prysuitdeling
- Pryse is nie oordraagbaar nie en kan nie vir kontant of ander goedere omgeruil word nie.
- Suidoosterfees behou die reg voor om enige prys sonder vooraf kennisgewing met ’n ander prys van gelyke waarde te vervang.
7. Regte en gebruiksooreenkoms
- Wanneer inskrywings ingedien word, gee deelnemers aan Suidoosterfees die nie-eksklusiewe reg om hul video’s en foto’s te gebruik, te vertoon en te versprei in verband met die bemarking van die Talentsoektog en Suidoosterfees, in enige media, sonder verdere vergoeding.
- Deelnemers behou eienaarskap van hul oorspronklike werk, maar stem in om Suidoosterfees toe te laat om hul inskrywing vir promosie- en bemarkingsdoeleindes vir ’n onbepaalde tydperk te gebruik.
8. Diskwalifisering
- Enige poging om die beoordelingsproses op onetiese wyse te manipuleer of te beïnvloed, sal onmiddellike diskwalifisering tot gevolg hê.
- Versuim om aan hierdie bepalings en voorwaardes te voldoen, kan lei tot diskwalifisering in enige stadium van die kompetisie.
9. Tegniese kwessies
- Suidoosterfees is nie verantwoordelik vir enige tegniese probleme wat verhoed dat ’n inskrywing opgelaai, gesien of beoordeel word nie.
- Deelnemers word aangemoedig om hul video-lêers voor indiening te toets om versoenbaarheid en kwaliteit te verseker.
10. Privaatheid
- Persoonlike inligting wat tydens die indieningsproses versamel word, sal slegs gebruik word vir die doeleindes van hierdie kompetisie.
- Deur aan die kompetisie deel te neem, stem deelnemers in tot die gebruik van hul naam, ouderdom, plek van tuiskoms en foto’s vir promosiedoeleindes wat verband hou met die Talentsoektog en die Suidoosterfees.
11. Aanspreeklikheid
- Suidoosterfees sal nie aanspreeklik wees vir enige verlies, skade of besering wat ontstaan as gevolg van deelname aan hierdie kompetisie nie.
- Deelnemers dra alle risiko’s wat verband hou met hul inskrywing, insluitend maar nie beperk nie tot tegniese foute en intellektuele eiendomsgeskille.
12. Beskikbaarheid
- Deur in te skryf bevestig kandidate dat hulle beskikbaar sal wees op die volgende datums:

◦ Werkswinkel 2: 15 Februarie 2025
◦ Semifinaal: 16 Maart 2025
◦ Finaal: Sal aangekondig word
Deur ’n inskrywing in te dien, erken deelnemers dat hulle hierdie bepalings en voorwaardes gelees het, dit verstaan en instem om daartoe verbind te wees.

Terms and conditions
1. Eligibility
- Participants must not be younger than 9 and older than 35 at the time of submission.
- Open to individuals and groups within 100 – 200 kilometres from Cape Town.
- Participants under 18 years old must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian. Details in the entry form.
- Employees, organisers and judges of Suidoosterfees, as well as their immediate family members, are not eligible to participate.
2. Submission guidelines
- Each participant or group may submit only one entry per category.
- Videos must not exceed 2 minutes in length, including a brief introduction providing the participant’s name, age and competition category.
- Video’s must be submitted via WhatsApp.
- Submissions must reach Suidoosterfees by 15 November 2024 at 12h00.
- Late entries will not be considered.
- Semi-finalists will be announced in the second week of November 2024.
3. Travel responsibility
- Participants selected as semi-finalists or finalists are responsible for their own travel costs to attend the semi-final and final rounds in Cape Town. Suidoosterfees will not cover any travel, accommodation or related expenses.
4. Content restrictions
- Entries must not contain any offensive, obscene or inappropriate content.
- Submissions should not promote violence, hate speech or discrimination of any kind.
- Suidoosterfees reserves the right to disqualify any entry that violates these content restrictions.
5. Judging process
- All submissions will be screened by a panel of judges selected by Suidoosterfees.
- Semi-finalists will be selected based on talent, originality and performance quality.
- Judges’ decisions are final and binding.
- Suidoosterfees reserves the right not to award prizes if the quality of performances are substandard.
6. Prizes
- Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other goods.
- Suidoosterfees reserves the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without prior notice.
7. Rights and usage
- By submitting an entry, participants grant Suidoosterfees the non-exclusive right to use, display and distribute their videos and images to promote the Talent Search and Suidoosterfees in any media, without further compensation.
- Participants retain ownership of their original work, but agree to allow Suidoosterfees to use their submission for promotional and marketing purposes indefinitely.
8. Disqualification
- Any attempt to manipulate or influence the judging process through unethical means will result in immediate disqualification.
- Failure to adhere to these terms and conditions may result in disqualification at any stage of the competition.
9. Technical issues
- Suidoosterfees is not responsible for any technical issues that prevent a submission from being uploaded, viewed or judged.
- Participants are encouraged to test their video file before submission to ensure compatibility and quality.
10. Privacy
- Personal information collected during the submission process will be used solely for the purposes of this competition.
- By entering the competition, participants consent to the use of their name, age, place of origin and photographs for promotional purposes related to the Talent Search and Suidoosterfees.
11. Liability
- Suidoosterfees will not be liable for any loss, damage or injury incurred as a result of participating in this competition.
- Participants assume all risks associated with their submission, including but not limited to technical failures and intellectual property disputes.
12. Availability
- By submitting an entry, candidates confirm that they will be available on the following dates:
