Today is the day Bumper will make an end to it all. His blade is sharp and he did thorough research on how to cut himself properly. But before he will gut his wrists, he wants to tell his side of the story. In this one man show, script-writer Bumper Jansen takes us on a journey through his childhood in Oudtshoorn, his teenage years on the Cape Flats and his adult life in Johannesburg. He invites us into the home of his grandma Bettie, and introduces us to his grandpa Kerneels, the brown man who looks like a white man and hates black people. He also tells us about his father who keeps Bumper’s mom under the rule of the fist.
